| (in English) | In recent years, research on robots that can operate in the same space as humans has attracted much attention, and research on robots that can navigate people has also been conducted.The key issue here is to ensure the safety and comfort of the person being guided. In this study, we investigated the modeling of human behavior when guided by a robot in order to clarify how the robot should move to ensure safety and comfort when guiding a person. We considered that the way people walk and the comfort they feel with the robot depend on the speed of the robot and its positional relationship with the robot. Therefore, we collected data on people guided by robots moving at different speeds, and analyzed the factors that influence human behavior and the comfort or discomfort of people. The analysis revealed that it is not the robot's speed or positional relationship itself that strongly affects human behavior, but rather the robot's acceleration and changes in positional relationship with the robot. It was also found that the slower the speed of the robot, the more unstable the human behavior becomes. The human behavior was then modeled by determining the human acceleration using the parameters that influenced the human behavior obtained from the analysis results. The prediction of human acceleration was more accurate for straight roads, but less accurate for curves. On the other hand, the items affecting human comfort and discomfort may lead to comfort if the robot is controlled so that the variance of distance and speed is reduced, and further study is planned in the future. | |
