We propose a heuristic method for selecting an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) that serves as a relay node that can maximize throughput in ad hoc network systems consisting of AMRs. In this system, in multiple AMRs communicating with the edge server, the wireless LAN ad hoc network is configured so that other AMRs (R-AMR) relay communications to help an AMR (B-AMR) communicate. The proposed method makes a simple pseudo-route for each R-AMR and selects the optimal R-AMR based on the indicators calculated for that route. The evaluation results show that the proposed method improve the probability of selecting the optimal R-AMR (selection success probability) by 63.3 % compared to the simple method. |
