Ghost Octave Convolution

(in English) Kai Han et al. proposed the Ghost module, an efficient method to create feature maps by dividing the conventional convolution process into two stages, and developed GhostNet, an efficient and lightweight model using this module. Yunpeng Chen et al. introduced Octave Convolution, a technique that splits input images into high-frequency and low-frequency components and processes them separately, then crosses the information. This method offers the advantage of reducing the computational cost of the model while improving accuracy. In this study, we propose Ghost Octave Convolution, which aims to further improve accuracy and reduce computational cost by replacing the convolutional part of the Ghost module with Octave Convolution.
