(in English) The authors study the technology for the realization of sign language automatic interpretation. In this study, we propose a segmentation method for each word based on the similarity of acceleration waveforms between word and short sentence movements, using acceleration data obtained from three-axis accelerometer attached to 4 parts of a signer's wrists and elbows. We report the results of word recognition using the LSTM model and the SVM model on the word segments, and future tasks.
