(in English) In robotic systems, methods for offloading robot processing to edge servers using Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) are expected. Such methods can be achieved by the existence of a resource management system that acts as an intermediary between the edge server and the robot. Among resource management systems that mediate between edge server processing and robots, MEC-RM can be used as a system that is expected to be highly versatile by connecting edge servers and robots via an HTTP-based API, but it is not clear whether it can be applied to robot teleoperation. Therefore, in this study, the communication delay of the resource management system for MEC (MEC-RM) is evaluated under the assumption of robot teleoperation using the resource management system.
