Development and Verification of teaching materials during introduction phase to support female engineers in engineering

(in English) According to the 2023 School Basic Survey by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the percentage of female students in the Faculty of Engineering is 16%, with only 6% in Mechanical Engineering and 10% in Electrical and Communications Engineering, indicating a growing trend of women moving away from manufacturing-related fields. This study aims to address this issue by developing and evaluating introductory-level manufacturing education materials for beginners in the engineering field. Additionally, hands-on manufacturing experience workshops were conducted using the "cute motif" educational materials to ensure that participants do not feel intimidated by engineering. The feedback from the participants was collected through a survey.
