Avatar robotic systems enable remote human control for tasks, potentially becoming widespread in public spaces. Trust between users and avatar robots requires advanced authentication beyond static credentials like passwords. Continuous authentication, based on behavioral traits, has gained attention, with motion characteristics such as handedness often used for operator verification. However, this study shows that handedness plays a smaller role in distinguishing operators when using a dual-arm robot as the avatar. Using a binary random forest classifier, we assess operator differentiation and find that handedness contributes less compared to other factors in this context. |
