This study proposes an indoor positioning method using a Transformer model that integrates geomagnetic vectors with dead reckoning displacement data. Traditional methods that rely solely on geomagnetic data often exhibit high error rates, particularly when magnetic intensity is affected by noise. By incorporating displacement information, we enhance the feature set and improve robustness against noise. Our experiments, which introduced normally distributed noise to geomagnetic intensity derived from real-world measurements, demonstrated that the mean absolute error for the geomagnetic-only approach was 1.138 m. By incorporating displacement data, this error was reduced to 0.255 m. |
