We have previously proposed eLAD (extended Laplacian Anomaly Detection) as a method for detecting anomalies in temporal networks by representing network structures with Laplacian matrices and analyzing their eigenvalues. Unlike the original LAD, eLAD aims to improve detection accuracy by observing changes in both the top and bottom eigenvalues of the Laplacian matrix. However, our previous studies have not sufficiently examined how to appropriately set the ratio of bottom to top eigenvalues in eLAD based on several conditions. In this paper, we explore a method for appropriately setting the ratio of bottom eigenvalues in eLAD by utilizing GSS (Graph Spectrum Shift). We validate the effectiveness of the proposed method through numerical experiments using temporal networks generated from synthetic and real-world networks. |
