Fork rate reduction method for blockchain management system considering disaster

(in English) In the event of an earthquake or other disaster, information about the affected area needs to be shared quickly. However, a centralised management system may make it difficult to share information due to congestion or server failure. Blockchain has been touted as a solution, but bandwidth limitations and retransmissions during disasters may increase forking rates. Existing studies have analysed the processing delay, but have not yet started to analyse the forking rate, and have not analysed the analysis assuming a disaster. Therefore, this study shows that priority management is available by simulating existing studies. Moreover, the delay during a disaster is modeled by a gamma distribution, and a fork rate reduction scheme focusing on the block generation time is proposed and its effectiveness is shown by numerical calculations.
