In this paper, we define novel classes of lattices {it equiangular lattice}.
Then we propose a novel algorithm for solving the closest vector problem in the equiangular lattice with $O(n log n)$-time. Furthermore, we develop improved algorithms with $O(n)$-time for slightly restricted classes of the equiangular lattice.
The equiangular lattice includes the well-studied root lattice $A_n$ (a.k.a. {it triangular lattice} or {it hexagonal lattice}) and its dual $A_n^*$.
We also discuss the relationship with existing algorithms for these lattice classes. |
