This paper presents an overview of a reliability-ensuring platform for teleoperation developed as part of Moonshot Goal 1 project. The platform incorporates support nodes that integrates communication quality monitoring, jitter buffering, and dynamic path switching functions. To evaluate its effectiveness under various network conditions, we implemented a prototype support node and developed a dual-arm robot as a testbed. Experimental results demonstrate that the platform effectively mitigates the impact of network impairments such as jitter and packet loss, thereby enhancing the stability and responsiveness of teleoperation. Furthermore, we propose a visualization method that clearly correlates communication quality with the teleoperation experience. The results confirm the feasibility of our approach as a step toward achieving highly reliable teleoperation systems. |
