[Special Talk] A completely new rendezvous docking method using self-luminous QR Code

(in English) This time, we propose a new method for the approaching phase of rendezvous docking (RVD). We propose an approaching method using self-luminous QR Code and optical wireless communication by image sensor.
NASDA's ETS-VII used multiple separate pieces of equipment for the relative approach using GPS relative navigation and the final approach using optical navigation, making the system complicated. In this mission, we replaced the equipment for the approaching phase with a light-emitting diode (LED) array and a consumer camera, which reduced the cost of the equipment and succeeded in simplifying the system configuration.
