(in English) Existing analyses of the National Diet records have largely focused on specific viewpoints or their use as a corpus, leaving a gap in the comprehensive analysis of the proceedings as a whole. In this study, our research employs generative AI for topic classification to analyze the overall discussions within the Records. Our findings reveal distinct differences in speech content based on National Diet sessions and political parties. While some of these topics aligned with those widely reported and discussed in the news, many other subjects that are often overlooked in daily media coverage were also identified.
