A Study on Indoor Positioning System using BLE Array Antennas adapted to Radio Environment Variations

(in English) We have been studied a positioning method using received signals from array antenna, establishes a fixed transmission reference point to cope with changes in the radio propagation environment, and employs a regression model based on neural network. However, previous studies have been limited to numerical calculation experiments, and the effectiveness of the method in real-world environments has not been verified. Additionally, there remains concern that past data may influence the accuracy of current estimations due to continuous learning.
Therefore, in this study, we propose a positioning method that can adapt to the radio propagation environment during position estimation and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method in static environments using observational data from real-world environment. As a result, we confirmed that the proposed method is superior to conventional methods in terms of positional error of $75 %$ tiles or less, and that it is possible to reduce positional error within an area where reference points are placed at the four corners.
