[Poster Presentation] Dynamic Compression Rate Allocation and Spatial Filtering for High-Quality MIMO-DeepJSCC

(in English) This paper proposes a method for dynamically optimizing the coding rate for each image region in Deep Joint Source-Channel Coding (DeepJSCC). By adjusting the compression rate based on each region's entropy, our method improves image quality. We also evaluate its noise resilience in MIMO transmission using different spatial filtering techniques.
Our evaluation on both SISO and MIMO channels confirmed that the proposed method significantly enhances the reconstruction accuracy of regions of interest, especially in low-SNR environments. By considering MMSE noise characteristics, it also suggests potential for enhanced noise resilience. This method contributes to improving both the communication efficiency and noise resilience of image transmission.
