Controller Design for Augmented Systems with Symbolic Inputs and Outputs Using Feedforward Neural Network

(in English) In recent years, data-driven control systems-where controllers are designed solely based on input-output data without
relying on explicit mathematical models of the plant-have attracted considerable attention. Previous studies have proposed
data-driven control methods for systems with low-resolution or discrete/symbolic inputs. Extending these studies, this paper
investigates control systems in which both inputs and outputs are represented symbolically. Using output symbol time series
obtained from randomly selected input symbols during the learning phase, we train a neural network-based controller to generate
desired output symbols. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated through numerical experiments.
