| 抄録 | （和） | 本研究は、ヒンドゥー教に起源をもつ宗教的シンボルである手首の赤と黄色の糸が、日本という異文化環境でどのように認知・解釈されるのかを明らかにすることを目的とする。予備調査では、審美性・情緒性・宗教性などの次元にもとづく項目間の相関構造を確認し、二重質問や曖昧表現の修正を行った。本稿では、質問紙設計、予備調査の結果、およびそれに基づく修正内容を報告する。今後、インド在住者、在日インド人、日本人を対象に質問紙調査および半構造化インタビューを実施し、糸に付与される象徴的意味や感性的価値を多面的に捉える予定である。 |
| （英） | This study aims to clarify how the red and yellow thread worn on the wrist, a religious symbol originating from Hindu practice, is perceived and interpreted in Japan as a cross-cultural environment. In the pilot survey, the correlation structure among items related to aesthetics, emotional responses, and religious connotations was examined, leading to the identification and revision of double-barreled or ambiguous questions. This paper reports the questionnaire design, the results of the pilot survey, and the modifications made based on these findings. A questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews with residents in India, Indians living in Japan, and Japanese participants are planned in order to capture the symbolic meanings and kansei-based values attributed to the thread from multiple perspectives. |
