In recent years, many video prediction models have been proposed to predict future frames of video. In this study, we replace the InceptionU module of SimVP, a video prediction model composed solely of CNN, with other networks. We also propose improving the loss function and inserting sthe kip connections. The proposed method extracts temporal features using the replaced networks and predicts future frames while preserving object contours using edge loss and skip connections. Quantitative evaluation of the generated frames using multiple objective evaluation metrics confirmed that the proposed method achieves better results than existing models. |
