In this study, we address a delivery planning problem in which trucks and drones cooperate to transport packages to customers. In conventional logistics systems, deliveries are typically carried out solely by vehicles, which leads to issues such as traffic congestion in urban areas and limited accessibility in mountainous regions. To overcome these challenges, we consider a two-stage delivery framework in which trucks transport packages from a depot to multiple hubs, and drones deliver them from those hubs to customers. Based on this framework, we develop a mathematical optimization model that simultaneously determines the routes and schedules of both trucks and drones. Furthermore, we conduct numerical experiments using the proposed model and evaluate its effectiveness through analysis of the computational results. |
