A Design for Outage-Constrained Radio Map Construction Robust to Positioning Errors

(in English) This paper proposes a radio-map construction method that predicts received power under a target outage probability and is robust to positioning errors. We use Gaussian process regression (GPR) to model spatial correlation and to enforce the outage constraint via its predictive distribution. Since conventional GPR ignores errors in reported coordinates, meter-level localization errors can miscalibrate outage. We therefore adopt the noisy-input Gaussian process (NIGP) to explicitly account for coordinate uncertainty in learning and prediction. Simulations for an indoor 4.8,GHz system with the 3GPP TR 38.901 InH NLOS path-loss model demonstrate accurate outage calibration and competitive RMSE compared with GPR that ignores position errors.
