[Poster Presentation] A Detection Method of Tampered Images Using Adversarial Perturbations in The Encrypted Domain

(in English) As represented by fake data, countering malicious data tampering and generation has become an urgent issue. This paper proposes a novel image spoofing detection method using adversarial samples. The proposed method designs adversarial perturbation to mislead the classifier into producing the specified classification result for an image randomly shuffled using a private key (encrypted image). Subsequently, the encrypted image with perturbation would be decrypted and published. The key owner verifies the presence of third-party tampering by performing image classification in the encrypted domain. Adversarial samples are generally robust against other than tampering processes like compression and do not require separating the image from auxiliary data, as with robust hashes. Furthermore, the use of encryption enables flexible control over the robustness of tamper detection.
