A Study on an In-Motion Power Supply System Using Flat Electrodes

(in English) This study applied the principles of the EVER system to 1/10 scale radio-controlled cars, aiming to construct a system featuring a flat electrode installed in the power collection electrode of the electrified road power transmission circuit—the system's intermediate component. We focused on a double-current rectifier circuit that converts high-frequency power into direct current power capable of driving the RC car's motor. Selection of the double-current rectifier circuit diodes and coil inductance was performed using a nonlinear-circuit simulator, with efficiency and other metrics as indicators. Furthermore, matching circuits were designed and prototyped to match the equivalent source-load impedance of each component. Finally, all system components were integrated. The system successfully drove the RC car via wireless power transmission, experimentally validating the effectiveness of the proposed flat electrode structure and double-current rectifier circuit.
