Document Structure Based Requirements Traceability Checking

(in English) In system development, detecting inconsistencies among design documents that lead to rework through traceability checking (TC) is essential for improving quality and reducing development costs.In recent years, research has explored review functions that leverage generative AI in downstream phases, such as TC between design documents and source code.In upstream process, however, design documents are progressively refined, which necessitates TC across documents with different levels of abstraction; as a result, accurate TC based on simple string-to-string comparisons is difficult.This study first proposes a basic TC approach that utilizes generative AI for checking traceability between design documents of differing abstraction levels.Furthermore, we propose a method to improve accuracy by using document structural information to collect contextual information about requirements that are scattered across a document.In an evaluation using design documents that emulate real-world projects, we confirm that the basic TC achieves an accuracy of $0.50$, and that providing additional context based on document structure improves the accuracy to $1.00$.
