(in English) To provide compassionate care to individuals with dementia, it is crucial for caregivers to understand their narratives (life stories). However, dementia makes memory recall difficult, and disclosing narratives is not easy. In this study, we conducted on-site assessments involving conversations while strolling through familiar places with individuals with dementia, and analyzed the resulting speech fragments. By tagging and classifying the speech fragments and analyzing the transitions between utterances, we confirmed that by repeatedly presenting shared known information and seeking consent, it is possible to facilitate narrative disclosure without revealing the individual's impaired memory recall ability.
