Distributed Networked Robot System for Wide Area Lost Looking Service

(in English) Robotic distributed systems have a great potential in many novel applications. These robots are connected to the wireless and network easily and offer variable solutions to many application areas [1] such as nursing assistance and medical care, life support, and investigations for the dangerous place etc. In this study, we propose a novel distributed system service “Wide Area Lost Looking Service” based on the parallel processing server and multiple client mobile-networked robots. The design goals are to achieve the partial-transparency and performance for scalability. To present the service, we consider the differences of the design goal comparing with the existent distributed systems that was not the robot for the client. We believe that more discussion is required for this area to utilize the multiple robots for the service to improve the human life.
