Nowadays, with the progress of the information society, it has become possible to easily watch videos from portable terminals such as smart phones and tablet terminals. In recent years, Quality of Experience (QoE), that is subjectively evaluated by the users, is attracting considerable attention as a quality evaluation indicator for the video distribution services. Generally, QoE is measured using subjective evaluation experiments, but in this research we will examine a method to estimate QoE without using subjective evaluation. Conventionally, a method for estimating QoE has been proposed, that using quality of service of communication services such as resolution and frame rate. However, it is difficult to accurately estimate the QoE affected by the psychological state of the user with the existing method. Therefore, in order to consider the user's psychological state, we propose QoE estimation method using objective evaluation method. In the video streaming service, playback stoppage and resolution reduction are often caused, and it is estimated that the user feels stress and QoE decreases. In this study, we focused on biological information to objectively evaluate stress as a psychological state. As a subjective evaluation experiment for analyzing the relationship between the biological information and the video evaluation value, experiments were conducted to measure the value of the biological information at the time of video viewing and the video evaluation value. From the experimental results, we showed the possibility to estimate the subjective quality of QoE by using the objective evaluation value of biological information. |
