Enhancement of L10 Ordering and Structural Analysis of Electrodeposited FePt Nanodot Arrays

(in English) We have developed fabrication process of ferromagnetic nanodot arrays for bit patterned media (BPM) by using lithography techniques and electrodeposition. In previous work, we achieved fabrication of FePt nanodot arrays which have a Single-layered structure, however, L10 ordering was not sufficient. Therefore, in this work, we attempted to fabricate the FePt nanodot arrays (15 nm diameter, 35 nm pitch) with Multi-layered structure by pulse electrodeposition and FePtCu nanodot arrays by electrodeposition with Cu additives. As a result, enhancement of L10 ordering and improvement of crystalline was observed in both cases.
