Developing an Arabic Search Site to Help Beginner-level Learners

(in English) This study reports developing a search site for beginner-level learners.
Recently demand for leaning Arabic is getting higher in Japan, but the number of Arabic learning materials for beginner-level learners is still small.
An Arabic dictionary can be searched by two ways: root or basic form.
Because a paper dictionary cannot adopt both of these two search ways at the same time, there is a necessity to use two dictionaries according to a purpose.
We solved this problem with an electronic media dictionary and also focused on improving the problems of existing electronic media dictionaries such as optimization for use from smartphones and selection of vocabulary for biginner-level.
