In this work, we propose an improved method of ICA(Independent Component Analysis), which is used for identifying latent components or factors in multi-dimensional data. In our method, we attempt to enhance the interpretability of results from ICA by imposing a sparse constraint for the factorized matrix and by DC algorithm to separate cost functions into two convex functions. In addition, we apply our method to synthetic data for validation of the utility, and discuss the results. |
