Downlink transmission performance for Local 5G System under the outdoor environment

(in English) We evaluated the transmission characteristics of the downlink data channel during SISO transmission and synchronous TDD in an environment where a local 5G wireless base station is installed on the roof of the research building of our university. As a result, we observed the received power characteristics from a maximum of -80dBm to a limit value of -117dBm in the actual measurement within the service area. We confirmed that the accuracy was within ±5 dB. As for the transmission throughput characteristics, in the range of -110dBm or less received power, 40-80Mbps was obtained, asymptotically close to the theoretical value, except for some transmission throughput in NLOS state. On the other hand, when the received power is in the range of -110 to -100 dBm, the transmission throughput gradually deviates from the theoretical value and decreases to about 80 to 110 Mbps. As a result of examining the cause of the decrease and saturation at 110 to 130 Mbps, it was found that the simulation results and the actual measurement results of the transmission throughput with an EVM value of 20% in the receiver are in good agreement due to the large influence of multipath fading in the propagation path. made it clear that.
