Properties of Li(0.998-x)K0.002NaxNbO3 ceramics

(in English) In this study, Lithium niobate (LiNbO3:LN) with high Curie temperature, TC, was focused to obtain piezoelectric ceramics that can be used at high temperatures. LN with K substituted at the Li site exhibited a phase of -9.9° at resonance in previous work. In this study, (Li0.998-xK0.002Nax)NbO3(x=0, 0.002, 0.01, 0.02) ceramics with containing Na in addition to K were prepared to further improve the properties. Significant changes in density and microstructure were not observed with solid solution of K and Na, but polarization process was more stable than that with only K solid solution. The phase could not reach the inductive region, but the maximum phase of -59.1° was obtained for the sample with x=0.01.
