[Short Paper] Overfitting Prevention for PET Image Reconstruction using Early Stopping of Deep Image Prior based on Unbiased Risk Estimator

(in English) In recent years, methods for PET image reconstruction using Deep Image Prior (DIP) have been actively studied. In PET image reconstruction by DIP, the early stopping at the appropriate timing is important to avoid overfitting to noise. In this study, we propose a method to estimate the appropriate timing of early stopping in PET image reconstruction by using unbiased risk estimator. In the experiments, we demonstrate that the unbiased risk estimator can be used for estimating appropriate timing of early stopping in DIP based PET image reconstruction with some conditions.
